Made of Solid Sterling Silver. Innovative oval design holds your thumb well without pinching the sides like traditional thimbles. To size your thumb: Wrap a piece of dental floss around the widest part of the knuckle of your thumb. Make a mark on the floss where two strands of floss pass or meet each other to get the circumference of your thumb . Measure the distance between the two marks. 5.2cm = T20; 5.6cm = T21; 6cm = T22; 6.5cm = T23; 7cm = T24; 7.5cm=T25. The thimble fitting is very forgiving in sizing - everyone can use two different sizes and feel fine. When your measurement falls between two sizes, pick the larger one.

Love this thumb thimble. Had tried leather, ceramic and plastic thimbles in the past and never liked them but had to make do with them as they were the only ones available in my area. Wish it came in steel with the life long guarantee.

I am quilting a queen size quilt and the thump thimble in conjunction with the finger thimble allows me to complete the designs without moving the quilt around excessively. This cuts down on the stress on my shoulders and arms making the quilting process much more enjoyable

I prefer to quilt with my thumb which is stinger. Nice fitting thimble. Can't wait until it is available in stainless steel!

I received the silver thumb thimble for Christmas and I love it! It works so well, it has helped me do much better stitching with my thumb and I have not broken any needles since I started using it. Thank You for a Wonderful Product!
