From May 2012, Thimblelady Friends has a new subcategory - Longarm Quilting Friends.

Longarm quilting Friend, is a one-off lifetime membership. DIY ONLY: $50/member can be joined at anytime before you are ready to DIY at Thimblelady Studio. What you will get is free tution (including private online video tutorial)+ $28/hour of using the machine (price including threads cost. Backing can be your own or purchase at our shop. Batting must be ours and can be purchased on the day. No outside batting can be used on our machine. Please note, DIY ONLY members do not enjoy any other privilege of Thimblelady Friends.

Friends (July 2011-June 2012) do not need to renewal membership if you just want to DIY longarm. Your ID will last you a lifetime.

New Thimblelady Friends (starting now till end of June, 2013) will continue to enjoy expanded discounted shopping and learning, teaching privilege as well as DIY quilting - Friends  do not need to sign up for DIY membership.

Quilters who just want to learn quilting and sewing, are friends. But you do not need to join the club as Friends - We (Thimblelady and Friends are making online tutorials free or at a very low cost to YOU ALL!
