Amazing results! I read the book twice, then I watched the video twice. Then came time for practice. The needles are incredible sharp and thin so they slide right through the material, which makes it easy to get a lot of stitches on the needle. The thimble has the deep dimples so the needle does not slide off when shifting from positions 1 to 2 and back. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to avoid pricking their underneath fingers. I am one happy customer.

I recently received my package. everything u say makes so much sense. i do have a problem. i have broken two needles after working just several hrs. could you advise me as to what I am doing wrong? i can tell I probably bend the needle too much but cannot figure why I am bending it.If I can figure this out I would rate this kit a 6!! - Liuxin's note: Phylis, it is not abnormal when you first change from the old technique into the new. here is your cure: http://www.thimblelady.com/how-to-hand-quilt-without-breaking-needles/

I received my complete quilting package yesterday, but I had to work last night and didn't get to put it together and try it out. Tonight, I was able to try it. I have worked now for several hours, AND MY RIGHT HAND DOESN'T HURT!!! YOU ARE AWESOME! I had thought that I would have to give up on quilting after I injured my hand, it just hurt too much to do it. NOW I CAN QUILT AGAIN!!! YAY!!!
Thank you so very much for putting this package together, and developing a way to teach your wonderful technique.

Thank You Molly and Ms. Newman!!! I also have these arthritis', and have had plenty of PT. I consider myself a master of ergonomics, and when I saw Ms. Newman on 'Simply Quilts', You sold me! Just wish I'd ordered sooner instead of trying to adapt for so long. Soon to be a happier quilter, Suzanne in Colorado.

I just wanted to write a strong recommendation to people with rheumatoid and/or osteoarthritis in their hands. I have severe rheumatoid and osteoartritis in my hands and fingers, yet thanks to the ThimbleLady and her thimbles and needles, I have been able to continue to do the hand quilting that I love so much without pain - really! I encourage anyone discouraged by pain to try her products. Now I still can't quilt as finely as many but I am pleased with my results and enjoy many hours of happy quilting.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I received you deluxe quilting package on Saturday and ordered the metal thimble just an hour later when I realized I never wanted to use another thimble again. I am a new quilter and my first line quilted after I read your book (while still in need of practice) was the best I had ever done! Thank-you for making quilting so accessible. My fingers thank-you, too.
