Product Description

Block of the Week - Many Sweet Dreams: where learning Visual Pattern starts. A throw quilt (120cm x 150cm or ) is devided into 9 blocks (bite sizes) to be sent to a subscriber one by one in 9 weeks. The 9-week BOW free for all to learn. You will receive part of a pattern in its original size - so you do not need to change or calculate anything. All you need to do is to machine piece onto the pattern. If you don't know what is easy paper piecing, watch the video below.  Please note, ePattern is delivered to an email address, you do not need to sign up for two copies: You can print as many copies as you like for yourself and your friends - feel free to do so. It is a gift from Thimblelady.  Whether you want extra copies for your friends who don't have internet access or students, this is a free course for all.

If you wish to share with friends or if you are a teacher sharing with your students, you can simply print more copies of the block as you receive it. We do not charge you for duplication of this BOW. We simply appreciate it if you let your friends and students know this is free from Thimblelady.

What you should expect:

  • Sign up at any time. Once you subscribed to it, you will receive the first block in your email within 24 hours of subscription. The rest will be emailed to you with a one-week interval in between.
  • This is a design to learn how Visual Pattern works without measurements nor miscalculation. No numbers are needed. As a mere exercise for learning's sake, you can print it off your home computer by setting printer to "fit to page" - this will shrink the original size pattern to fit into your A4 or A3 paper size that your home printer can take. If set each of the 9 blocks to an A4 paper size, the completed quilted will be approx 65cm x 89cm - a beautiful small wall hanging. Visual Pattern will always keep a design in proportion no matter what size you change the design to! To make the design into a larger quilt, save the pattern onto a USB drive, and have it printed to its original size at officework or Kinko.
  • Work on each block sent to you one a week. Click on the link to the video tutorial showing you how to work on the first block - this video tutorial is free - This is an example tutorial Friends can make for other Thimblelady designs to be published. Future tutorial videos will be for sale to all subscribers who need tutorial back up - potential subscribers can even get the video tutorial first before buying a pattern or subscribe to the BOW or BOM to make sure you have the skills to do it.
